Privacy

How I handle your information.

This explains what happens to anything you send me through this website. It is short because there is not much to it.

Who is responsible

Felix Clarke, trading as Felix Clarke Marketing, is the data controller for this website. You can reach me on 03333 604 102 or through the form on the home page.

What I collect, and why

If you complete the enquiry form I receive your name, email address, company, role, the sector you selected and anything you write in the notes box. I use it for one purpose only, which is to reply to you and, if it suits us both, to arrange a conversation.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to an enquiry you chose to send me. If we go on to work together, the basis becomes performance of a contract.

I do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry, and I do not sell, rent or share your details with anybody for marketing.

Who else sees it

The website is hosted by Netlify, who process form submissions on my behalf and who may store data outside the United Kingdom under an appropriate transfer safeguard. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. My email is handled by my email provider. Nobody else receives your enquiry.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking on it. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within twelve months. Where we go on to work together, I keep the correspondence and records for six years after the work ends, which is the ordinary period for business and tax records.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to my holding it at all. Telephone or email and I shall deal with it, normally within a few days and in any event within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
